Baily Syring

Baily Syring is an undergraduate student majoring in Materials Science and Engineering with a certificate in German and expects to graduate in spring of 2021. She began doing research in the Grainger Institute for Engineering in November of 2018. She says that she enjoys working in the lab because “there are endless possibilities to learn and develop skills that will be useful when working in industry.” She love the hands-on experiences she has gotten in the lab. Outside of the lab, Baily is involved in Love Your Melon – a student organization on campus that provides therapeutic experiences for children battling cancer.
