Celal received a BS in Physics from Gaziosmanpasa University (Tokat, Turkey) in 2009. Then he attended Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University in Kahramanmaras, Turkey. There, he earned his MS in Physics (2012), his first PhD in Materials Science and Engineering (2015), and a second PhD in Physics (2018). He carried out his works for three months in Institute for Complex Materials, Technische Universität Dresden, Germany (2011). He has joined Dr. John H. Perepezko Research Group as a Postdoctoral Fellow in UW-Madison since 2018. In 2019, Celal joined UW-Madison and Dr. Dan Thoma’s lab as a Postdoctoral Research Associate.
