
Teagan Riedel is a Mechanical Engineering Master’s student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her current research focuses on the development of corrosion-resistant blanket material for fusion reactors, specifically through the compositional grading of pure tungsten to Vanadium alloy. She earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming (2025). Prior research experience includes work at Idaho National Laboratory, the Space Propulsion Observation and Testing (SPOT) Lab at the University of Alabama, and materials testing at a civil engineering firm.
